It’s a bit wild how much has landed through doing these reviews. This one especially brought up that bittersweet feeling, like wrapping up a big chapter and realising just how much has shifted. Not just in the business, but in the energy behind it all.
What stood out this time wasn’t some big dramatic breakthrough. It was how small moments, little adjustments, and real honesty can ripple out and change everything. It wasn’t about getting it all right. It was more like, “Okay, this is where I’m at and that’s enough.”
There’s something freeing about looking back without needing to fix or perfect it. Just seeing it clearly and letting it be part of the bigger picture.

The body always keeps the score
There was this really strong thread around the body. Not just as a vehicle we move through the world in, but as a place that stores, signals, and speaks. Sometimes what we call resistance or procrastination is actually the body throwing up a flare. It’s trying to say something’s out of alignment, or that we’re pushing through something that needs to be felt.
When the body says no, it’s not a sign of weakness, it’s information. And often, it’s more honest than the mind. That came through again and again: your body doesn’t lie. It might not use words, but it tells the truth. The invitation wasn’t to overanalyse every sensation, but to start listening with more compassion and curiosity.
The more we listen, the more we can work with our energy, not against it.
Discipline isn’t what you think it is
Discipline gets a bad rap, especially in spiritual and creative spaces. But this wasn’t about hustle or pushing harder. It was about devotion. About showing up, even when the spark isn’t there. Not to force results, but to honour what matters.
There’s a kind of quiet strength in that. The kind that doesn’t chase validation or wait for motivation to arrive. And it’s not rigid. In fact, it works best when it’s responsive. You get to choose what you’re committed to and how that looks each day.
The idea wasn’t to become more productive. It was to become more intentional. And that kind of discipline doesn’t drain you—it grounds you.
Grief and expansion can live side by side
This part touched on something a lot of people don’t talk about, that growth isn’t always clean or uplifting. Sometimes expansion comes with grief. Letting go of old versions of yourself, old ways of working, even old dreams.
It’s not because things went wrong. It’s because you’re changing. And even when the new version feels more aligned, there’s often a quiet ache for what used to be. That doesn’t mean you’re not growing. It means you’re human.
Being able to hold both, the grief and the growth, makes space for a much deeper kind of transformation. One that’s honest, embodied, and sustainable.
